Summary:
As a Drafter in the canopy and cover industry, you will play a pivotal role in the creation of shop drawings of aluminum components.
Your work will involve reviewing construction documents and blueprints to make necessary mark-ups and changes to align with our client's products.
You will work closely with clients to ensure that custom designs meet their specifications.

Primary Duties &
Responsibilities:
Shop Drawing Expert:
Create precise shop drawings of aluminum components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Blueprint Guru:
Read and interpret construction documents and blueprints to effectively make mark-ups and changes for our client's products.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients to ensure custom design requirements are met, turning their visions into reality.
Iterative Process:
Take the client's existing construction documents, incorporate any requested changes, and send them for review.
Make adjustments based on client feedback before creating the final fabrication document.
Required
Qualifications:
Experience:
3 years' experience in creating shop drawings or fabrication drawings for the aluminum extrusion industry or extensive sheet metal shop drawing experience.
AutoCAD Expertise:
High-level proficiency in AutoCAD, enabling you to bring designs to life.
Blueprint Reading:
The ability to read and understand construction documents and blueprints is essential for success in this role.
Preferred
Qualifications:
3D CAD Knowledge:
Experience with 3D CAD software (Inventor preferred) is a valuable asset.
