Human Resources Assistant II - 1st Shift

As the HR Assistant II, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources generalist. What you ll do on a typical day:

  • Work closely with HR team to ensure a positive open door climate
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required
  • Prioritize regular workload, special tasks, and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of administrative support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications

It d be great if you also have:

  • Experience with Kronos or other time and attendance systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to use logic and problem-solving skills to resolve issues, navigate between dual monitors, familiarity with time zones, etc.
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
